These Proceedings include the contributions to the XVII Meeting on Risk Theory, Campobasso, September 7th, 2010. Since 1993 the conference on Risk Theory is an annual appointment in University of Molise. The aim of the meeting is to deal with technical and theoretical aspects of risk in insurance activities. Ennio Badolati is full professor of Risk Theory in University of Molise and in the Faculty of Economics he is the Doyen. His interests are in: 1) Mathematical Risk Theory;2) History of Mathematics and Astronomy.
